Lemonade of grilled lemon

Ingredients

4 lemons

fine granulated sugar

6 tablespoons of sugar

1 liter of water

1 tablespoon of honey

1 sprig of rosemary

extra water to dilute to taste
1. Grilling lemons

Halve the lemons.

Lightly press the cut surface into the sugar so that it is nicely coated.

Heat the barbecue to 180-200Β°C.

Place the lemons with the sugared side on the grill.

Grill until the sugar caramelizes and the lemons get lightly seared edges.

Let cool briefly and then squeeze out the juice.
2. Rosemary-honey syrup

Put a pan over medium-high heat with 6 tablespoons of sugar and 1 liter of water.

Add 1 tablespoon of honey and the sprig of rosemary.

Heat gently until sugar is completely dissolved, stirring occasionally.
3. Merge

Mix the grilled lemon juice with the warm rosemary syrup.

Dilute with additional water to desired intensity.
