Barbecue Academy On Tour
The On Tour workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to learn more about barbecuing. This workshop will be given at anytime, anywhere: the chef will come to you! Price on request. During the workshop you will do as much as possible yourself: it will be a real hands-on experience. From appetizer to dessert, all dishes will be prepared on the barbecue. Meet Chef Jordy!
Jordy Vermoolen is a passionate chef with years of experience in the kitchen. This passion started from childhood. At a young age Jordy was always busy with (Italian) cooking and grew into a real gourmet. His passion has continued to grow over the years, as has his skills: with experience in La Vallée Verte (France), Café Zurich (Amsterdam) and the Pastafabriek Al Dente (Haarlem), Jordy grew into a chef who was very involved with product development and menu development. Besides that Jordy likes to cook inside, Jordy also likes to prepare dishes outside: on the barbecue! Barbecuing first started as a hobby for him, but quickly grew into more. Jordy is now a real grill master. His specialty on the barbecue? It is difficult for him to choose between the roasted celeriac and the côte de boeuf. Fortunately, both can be tasted during the BBQ Academies. Jordy likes his passion from the catering industry, broad experience and passion for cooking, developing products as well as menus, devising and giving BBQ workshops and thus spreading Boretti's passione in cucina!
